Fiesta indicator problem

Options
For some reason my 2004 fiestas off side front indicator is clicking twice as fast. The rear and side bulbs are flashing but the front one is out.

I thought this was just a replacement bulb and when that didn't work I bought a new bulb holder but still not working.

Any suggestions?

Needs the wiring chasing, how competent are you with a multimeter?

Never done it but willing to give it a shot!
  • Firstly, check there is 12v at the positive plug for the lamp unit.

If there is, you can then narrow it down to an earthing fault. Try briding the earth wire to something solid looking, and metal under the bonnet and testing the lamp.

If you're not getting 12v at the lamp, thinks are gonna start getting a bit more complicated, so try that first.
