Help! We have this system in our house but unfortunately the alarm keeps going off for no reason at all. We haven't a manual and wondered if anyone could give us some advice on how to rectify the situation. Someone suggested entering the Engineers code but we don't know what that is.
(unfortunately the person who installed the system some years ago isn't on the scene anymore)
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Generally, knowing the Engineers code won't help a great deal. At most it will allow you to narrow down which zone the false alarm is occurring in.
Last time this happened to me, I was lucky that the zone was one with just one contact in - the one on the front door, and the false alarm was caused whenever a strong gust of wind pressed the bottom edge of the door inward slightly. Replacing the sensor and magnet solved it.0 -
