Parking Ticket from APCOA - advice please

Dear All,
My first post after being an avid reader!
Whilst on holiday recently, I parked at Henley on Thames railway station. When we returned after a day in London, we had a ticket, which I immediately contested, as I had purchased a ticket that morning (I paid too much like a fool!). The reply is also scanned and attached. I have read the threads and am sure of the action you guys recommend, i.e. ignore; I am simply seeking some reassurance from you experts.
They claim the ticket (attached) was not clearly displayed. Yes, on shutting the doors, it blew to one side of the dash, but it was there if you looked for it. Conveniently, their photo shows the other side of the screen!
Please advise! Thank you so much for your help,
scruffysan

Ignore and don't pay
And ignore all of the following letters they will send you (unless in the very unlikely situation you get sent proper court-papers)
Make a lovely paper airplane out of the parking invoice, you have paid your dues by getting the ticket therefore all the damages the landowner can claim for is zero

I would ignore all letters as these tickets are not enforceable at all, and besides you've paid so there is no loss to the scammers
FYI I would remove the links in your first post as it identifies you quite well , they are not needed in this case because its a private parking ticketExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Thank you both, much appreciated!0
