  • There used to be a place off stadium close, Penarth road called Alphabet Zoo. Never been in there but worked next door, and the place was always very busy, so would suggest that it was quite popular. Parking was not a problem though as there was plenty
    I had a plan..........its here somewhere.

A large indoor play centre with bikes, slides, cars, toddler area, climbing facilities and much more. This play centre also has a sitting down area and snack shop available so parents can relax and have a coffee whilst their child plays in a safe and secure environment. The staff are very friendly and Alphabet Zoo also makes an ideal party venue. For the admission prices your child gets an hour and a half to play and for an extra 50p your child will get an additional half an hour. I think it is excellent value for money and there is also a free car park. My son loves it here. They also cater for parties.

Lisa comments (April 05): I took her [Cerys] to the Alphabet Zoo yesterday and I was not impressed. As soon as I went in I was hit with the smell of wee, the equipment was tatty and bits were broken off everything. I know it is very popular and used a lot, but I think it is about time they revamped some of the equipment.

    Admission £1.99 (toddlers) £2.99 otherwise

    The High Street, Llandaff, Cardiff

    10.00am - 6.00pm 7 days a week

Jazzy Jungle is a children's indoor play centre in the Llandaff area of Cardiff which supplies activities for play and also caters for children's parties . Jazzy Jungle comprises of climbing modules with bouncy castle, ball pits, dark room, rope bridges, soft play and a toddler area.
Refreshments are available in a friendly and inviting environment. You might even meet their friendly tiger - Jazzy! Who is available for hire for Children's parties. Parking is available and Jazzy Jungle welcomes children up to the age of ten.

Sharon comments: I'd forgotten how good Jazzy Jungle is! My 3yr old loves it again (she did go off it when she was first walking as the climbing stuff was too old and the baby stuff not challenging enough). We had a fab morning there and she was so worn out with all the climbing she even had a lunchtime nap! Peace for mum!

Admission £3 - no time limit.

Wow Cardiff Pirates looks great, if I hadn't already sent the invites out for my daughters birthday then this would have been a great idea. It seems a bit pricey, but when you compare it to what the play centres charge, it's worth it.

i recently used canton community centre for my daughters birthday, for 76.50 it has a large bouncy castle, a bungee run and soft play, ideal for kids of all ages (and parents too lol)
you would then only need to organise food and party bags

    Good luck
:T Thanks to all lovely MSE'rs - you are great friends :T
