Problem viewing certain videos

I am using firefox version 3.6 in windows 7 when I go to the channel4 big brother web site the videos won't play they load as if they are going to play but dont, I have the Internet Explorer firefox addon after clicking that it loads the page as if in IE and plays fine. I have no problem viewing you tube videos or any other videos, I have downloaded the latest Adobe Flash Player.
Any ideas what might be wrong please.
