Garden fence quote

Options
I've just had a quote for removal and disposal of my old fence and to replace with 35metres of 6ft high closeboard fencing with arris rails and wooden posts £2300
Does this seem fair?

I was just about to do an exact post:D

We've just had a quote for taking down 42metres and replacing all fence with arris rails and met posts cemented into ground, take down old gate and replace with a new one. Most at 7 feet and a few at 6 feet high. Skip hire and all debris taken away. Quote is for £2050. We live in Kent 10 miles from central London.

Fencing is normally around £45 per linear metre thats just to put fencing up though and doesnt include taking down or disposal of old fencing. Therefore i would say both quotes are there or there abouts! Good Luck!
