Hi, I have just bought 12 doors via the homebase website over this bank holiday weekend. The website promotes a 15% discount on all products during this weekend and this is over and above any discounts already available, all you have to do is enter discount15 at the checkout page.
The doors I purchased were listed as having a 15% discount when you ofer 4 or more, and it says it on the webiste on the door lisitng.
excusive online offer: Save 15% when you buy 4 or more, enter code DOORS15 in the trolley.
So that should have been a 30% discount! Brilliant!
I tried to put the DOORS15 code in and it doesn't work, I used the 15% weekend code and that did. I phoned their help line and asked why the web would not let both discount codes work even though it says that they should and he said the deal had expired.
Does anyone know if I can demand the extra 15%?

Technically you can "demand" it but tbh, you'd possibly just end up looking like a fool.
No contract exists until payment has been taken and the goods dispatched. So unfortunately, even if the doors were listed at the wrong price, they dont have to supply them at that price.
If the website is stating the deal is still on, perhaps a little niceness might encourage them to give it to you as a goodwill gesture? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
It wouldn't be a 30% discount, it would be 27.75%.
If the website says the offer is valid, I would ask again, and try to push the issue, if not, go to the store tomorrow and see if it is available instore, if they are slow off the mark they might have forgotten to take the POS down.
EDIT sorry just saw it was an online discount. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -
There was a 15% in store discount, but this only applied on Friday and Saturday. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

You can usually only enter one promotion code per purchase I'm afraid. Pretty much the same with most online retailers.0
