Free DVD rental at blockbusters with promotional Mars Pouches £1 each at Tesco

You have to buy 2 bags of the Mars pouches usually roughly £1.66 now on offer at Tesco for £1 and you get a DVD rental for free.

The packs will be displayed in shop until Sept 30th and the free DVD rental can be claimed until 18/02/11.

The codes are found at inside the bottom of the bag and need to be inputted online and you will get a voucher to be printed off which expires in 7 days.

It's strange you say that, Blockbusters gave me a phonecall today to say my account hadn't been used in a while and if I popped in I would get a free DVD rental.

Blockbuster are closing down some stores but it doesn't mean they will cease to exist. I imagine they'll keep the online rentals given the success of LoveFilm and very few competitors for it.

It doesn't seem to exclude using the Mars codes for an online trial even if you've had one previously. Has anyone successfully done that?

If you have a Homebargains near to you, they have 3 small bags of malteasers for £1 and when you input the 3 codes from the bags you get a free rental with that. I am off to buy more sweeties to get free rentals.

If it's the 130g to 185g pouches then you need two for a free rental, which works out at £2 - the pouches are also on offer in Sainsbury's for 3 for £3. I used one of the vouchers yesterday and it works with no problems.

Yep, Asda have been doing the big bags (maltesers, revels, mars, galaxy counters, milky way stars, M&Ms) for 87p for weeks now. I got mine from there and got my 1st DVD in the post today (you get 4 online rentals or 1 from a shop).

Our local store closed down and they gave us a free voucher for 10 free rentals quite happy with that one:T

I can't find the codes inside the bag. nothing printed in base of peanut m and ms or galaxy counters, yet to finish the lmaltesers, where are the codes what do they look like? numbers letters etc?
