Using an Apple keyboard on PC

I've just connected a white Apple USB keyboard to my PC.
The keyboard is the white one with Shift-2 labelled as @ and Euro, and Shift-3 as £, but the default UK keyboard is giving @ when I press " and vice-versa.
Now normally this would indicate it's set to US vs. UK, but that's not the issue as I get £ for Shift-3.
Any idea what I should set the keyboard to?
(It's actually connected to several computers via a KVM switch.)

I may be wrong here but I think there are difference with the Apple keyboard and some functionality will be lost when connected to a normal PC. I do the same thing as you in a server room at work and had it connected to a KVM switch and had same problem which I was never able to resolve.

Thanks at least for empathizing...
(I've got Linux and UNIX machines as well as PCs, so it might be back to the Dell keyboard for me then...)
