Using an Apple keyboard on PC

I've just connected a white Apple USB keyboard to my PC.
The keyboard is the white one with Shift-2 labelled as @ and Euro, and Shift-3 as £, but the default UK keyboard is giving @ when I press " and vice-versa.
Now normally this would indicate it's set to US vs. UK, but that's not the issue as I get £ for Shift-3.
Any idea what I should set the keyboard to?
(It's actually connected to several computers via a KVM switch.)

I may be wrong here but I think there are difference with the Apple keyboard and some functionality will be lost when connected to a normal PC. I do the same thing as you in a server room at work and had it connected to a KVM switch and had same problem which I was never able to resolve.0

(I've got Linux and UNIX machines as well as PCs, so it might be back to the Dell keyboard for me then...)0
