Help, bought son a second hand Ds lite last week and he said today it is not working. He states he has not dropped it but I wonder...it does not power up when you turn on the power switch and when you swap batteries it still does not work - a black screen. Has he broken a fuse or is it terminal (possibly to the son as well if I catch him....even second hand it was more than we can afford..).

they have a rechargeable battery in them
my sons stopped working last week, he finally admitted he had dropped it, could it be that your son isnt telling you for fear of getting into trouble?
just bought my son another one, second hand this time, as his other has lasted a few years, and well worth the money in my eyes for the amount of time he spends on it. he has adhd, and dosent concentrate or sit still for long, the ds makes car journeys and any waiting times bearable for all of usloves to knit and crochet for others0
