    Hi

Can you tell me what extra channels you get that aren't on freeview. Can you get any of the sky channels?

    Thanks

  • The phrase " free to air" should tell you that unfortunately you won't be getting any Sky channels.

Follow this link from a previous Lidl satellite thread.............http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=85439

Astra1 has all the german channels which are often quite good for live football. As an example, one of the channels (DSF) was showing the Barcelona vs Bremen Champions League match last Wednesday on free-to-air. So if your team is playing a german team then there's usually a good chance it'll be on one of the german channels! Same goes for international matches - the germans screen most of their matches live

Enjoy fiddling around for hours on end trying to line up with the satellites....lol Unless you decide to go for a motorised dish......................

As others have said...can be good for footie...but there's not much else out there..... unless you're multi lingual and enjoy watching the news.
