I planted up some tomato seeds earlier this year with the kids. I don't usually grow them, and the packet has got lost so I cannot remember the variety but it was an outdoor one. I have had a busy summer and other than remembering to pot them on when they got big and keep watering them, I haven't given them much thought. Two days ago I noticed a few are starting to flower but it's just hit me that its the last week of August - isn't this quite late? Do you think I will get any tomatoes off them now? Especially as there is so few sunny days?
