What sort of rake do I need?

This is my first visit to this board as I've just bought my first property and for the first time have my own garden!
We have a small area of grass which is also home to a damson tree. In all the bad weather this week, the lawn is completely covered in fallen fruit (unfortunately a lot of it is split open/eaten but I've salvaged over a kilogram).
I need to buy a rake to clear it all up before I have some furniture delivered (over the garden wall!) next week, but am unsure which type I need. Should I get a 'lawn rake' like this one?

The vendors left us a basic mower which doesn't collect the cuttings, so ideally it needs to be one that'll collect up the grass cuttings too.
Thank you!

Whilst that is the correct sort of rake for leaf/grass collection; if it's only a small area, consider those "big hands" they are like large plastic plates that you attach to your hands via a strap on the back - http://www.amazon.co.uk/BIG-Hands-Garden-Scoops-Green/dp/B000PKDH7S
I got some a lot cheaper in an outlet place in Pontypridd, but they are fantastic for picking up all sorts, including thistles, nettles and brambles.0
