logitech wireless keyboard (y-rr53) wont connect

My keyboard stopped working yesterday, I tried re-connecting, changed batteries, etc. The mouse connects fine, does anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks

You can get interference from other wireless items with Logitech devices.
Have you added anything else recently?
(Alternatively, it could be broken.)

You need to follow the instructions vary carefully to effect the reconnection:

Press the Connect button on the top of the receiver unit.
With a pencil-point or cocktail stick, press the red button on the bottom of the mouse.
Wait 20 seconds
Press the Connect button again on the receiver
Press the red button on the underside of the keyboard.

Any variation means that it won't work. Even if one or the other of them is working, you need to go through the whole sequence.

I've had it for a few years now, nothing new installed before it stopped working. I gave up after trying hundreds of times & binned it.
