Returning goods with a 5 yr guarantee

Hi folks
My daughter has some Babyliss hair straighteners, they are 3 years old and we do have the original purchase receipt.
Question is, do we return them to the shop they were originally purchased from or do we have to return to manufacturer.

I would guess the shop where they came from (or the chain) as you made the purchase from them and not the manufacturer.

There are many foriegn manufacturer that on certain items would cost more to get it to them than the price of the object eg some thing heavy to china. etc

I'd probably ring Babyliss first, and see if they'll do it. Much easier.

If they tell you just to take it back to the shop, then do that.

guarantee will most likely be from the manufacturer so you will have to contact them.
