I'm very new to HTML and have just learnt how to open an image in a separate webpage using this code:
<a href="http://www................."target=_blank"> <img src="................jpg"> </a>
However, each image has a little line at the bottom right hand corner, and I can't figure out why. I can't seem to get rid of it, no matter what I do.
Any help will be gratefully received.

I think you're missing double quote marks in your html code - it should be:
<a href="http://www................." target="_blank"> <img src="................jpg"> </a>
but I don't know if that will fix the problem with the line?0 -
Thanks Nanao - tried the extra quote marks but it made no difference
The line looks like a tiny underscore coming from the bottom right corner of each image.It's nice to be important.....but it's more important to be nice0 -
style="border: none; text-decoration: none;"
Try that! Add it just after target="_blank"0 -
jimmy10 - you are a star
Thank you!!!!It's nice to be important.....but it's more important to be nice0
