Communication

Reading these threads it becomes clear to me that most of the problems would be resolved with communication, mostly without resorting to claims.
I have recently sent plants to 2 buyers and have stated that delivery would be on Tuesday/Wednesday. Today is Friday and I have not had any contact from them. I don't know if they got there, I assume so or they would have been on to me pretty quickly. I have not received any feedback from them despite my sending theirs.
Another buyer had the same item to them in the north of Scotland, e-mail confirming sent, e-mail confirming received and both feedbacks left. Just as it should be.
I just hate being left up in the air like this as I'm just about to go on holiday and don't want nasty surprises on my return.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

This is a pain, but some buyers never leave feedback so you're left unsure of delivery. I sent 2 expensive items special delivery this week and I've had feedback off one buyer but not the other and I'll worry until I hear.

I am a worrier about most things but not so much with ebay. Once my items get handed over at the Post office and I have a COP I don't spare them another thought.

I always assume that if the buyer doesn't get them they'll tell me, and if they do get them and are happy then they'll leave positive feedback. I really can't be worried about 30+ parcels a week.

Also, as a buyer I never ever email someone to say I've received somethting, I'd only email them if something doesn't arrive or if I have any other sort of problem.
