Wardrobe /airing cupboard heater

If i left this on all the time, to replace my old water tank in my airing cupboard, how much electricity would it use a month, roughly, and how much would it cost?

It's only £23 here but check for delivery charges if any.

12W = 0.012kWh per hour. 24 hrs in a day, 30 days in a month = 8.6 kWh per month. At 10p per 'unit' that would be about 86p a month.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
  • Thanks for that!;)

86p a month is brill, think i'll invest in one!
  • My only concern now is how many watts i need for an airing cupboard! Any ideas?? Is 12w too low??
  • It's about the same as a low energy lightbulb ...

  • 12W wouldn't be too low, I've used 15W tubular heater to dry out a damp-soaked lift room (3mx 2m) before.

If you are fitting a tubular heater fit a thermostat, a timer and a guard.
