Sorry - but three days over a bank holiday weekend is not enough time to give an employer to do this. I understand that you may be feeling very fristrated, but you do have to give the employer a reasonable chance to respond. Wait until Thursday, and then if you haven't heard anything, ring the employer and ask what is going on. If that doesn't get you an answer, come back and tell us what was said.

    Hi Vinnie,

Your post would be a lot easier to read if you could put some paragraph spaces in.

Like the other poster says, give it a few more days. He cannot get out of paying you redundancy so dont worry about it.

Be patients. I know its difficult but you'll just have to wait.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

I didn't actually say that, although I know someone else did. It wouldn't be something I would say because I see employers get out of paying redundancy all the time. Or trying to. But it really is too early at this stage to make that assumption, so have a word later this week if you still haven't heard. It probably isn't a problem and it just needs sorting out, but you are right to keep an eye on things!
  • i sent my letter in asking for my redundancy pay on the 23/8/10.
Because it was a bank holiday week end ,i left it until the friday 3/9/10,I asked him if he recieved my letter and he said yes.
I told him that i hadn't recieved any letter of him,he told me that there had been a letter made for me and that he would chase it up.
In total this has went on now for 17 weeks still nothing

please what can i do, to get this resolved:mad:
