Lost Unit Trust Fund

Hi, Can anyone help:j, back in the eighties I bought into a unit linked investment plan run by a company called TARGET LIFE. The plan was called the INTERCITY VESTA PLAN. I only ran it for about a year then, being young and inexperienced, forgot about it. I have now come across an old statement and wondered if the money I paid into the plan would
A, still be held some where and still growing.
and B, would I still be able to cash the plan in.
I have searched for the company with no luck but have found out that it's parent company was J Rothschild & Co based at Target House, Gatehouse Rd, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP19 3EB

Target Life certainly fell under the TSB umbrella for a time. Perhaps Lloyds TSB is a starting point.
Here's a link to an old thread with contact details.

Yes, the Bournemouth address should be right. It's Abbey Life, and client line is 0845 9600 900. I've just received a communication re my own vesta plan from mid 1980s (which I kept up). I agree it's tricky to track this one down - although I have had a statement each year, that wasn't always helpful when it came to knowing who actually was dealing with my money, and I had to do some detective work myself a few years back following one of the mergers. Good luck, hope your money's still there!0

Hi Blue*Grouse, thanks for the info, I have made an initial contact with Abbey and they are dealing with my request, so far they have not got back to me but it has only been a few days, fingers are firmly crossed.0
