Really nice at 87p for a 20 gram pack...
We used them for supper on Melba toast but I'm sure there would be a lot of uses for these trimmings...

Sorry meant 120 gram pack...

  • I buy the Sainsbury's basics trimmings - similar price - I use them in lots of dishes but OH's favourite is a little pile on the top of scrambled egg on toast.

Lovely on a toasted bagel with some soft white cheese, also in a green salad with avocado. Yum.

;) Felines are my favourite ;)
  • I'm a fan of mixing them in when making scrambled eggs, too. Foods for kings!

I'm not a great fan of smoked salmon, so I don't normally look at this kind of thing, but are they really 87p fo 20 gram pack? That seems very expensive to me, or am I just totally out of touch!

I've used them too - in a creme fraiche & smoked salmon tart from Delia, I made one for a starter for a Christmas lunch a couple of years ago, and served it with a simple green salad. Everyone loved it!

ETA: In tesco, they're 87p for 120g. I don't know if this linky will work though

I thought something was missing! although I thought it might be 200gms. That's eased my mind. My 'not a great fan' means I hate the stuff, hence never looking at it. I've said no to it at parties and would hate to think I'd rejected something that cost so much. :D
