Imi, If there is a dispute over liability, and it certainly sounds like the info at your end may indicate there is, your insurance will put their best people onto it (one hopes) because ultimately it reduces their pay out. Also, what looks like a lot of damage on impact is often reparable with some hefty panel work, and conversely the smallest dink can be catastrophic if it nudges a chassis out of line.
A write off simply occurs if the cost of repair exceeds the market replacement value of the car, which helps understand your earlier question (or was it more a statement of surprise that so much damage and still no airbag? on reading it again i think this was your point!)Marry a Foreigner, its so much cheaper!0 -
It's plain and simple for the Insurance companies...you joined a major road when it was unsafe to do so and caused an accident by your actions.0
