What on earth to wear?

Interesting post.........I'm a pensioner and fall into the trap of wearing the same things day after day -the 'can't be bothered' syndrome I call it. Usually sweatshirt, cardigan (love my cardigans......lol) and either trousers or a long skirt. As for feet........I too suffer from the days of 'winkle pickers' and go for comfort now in the form of flitfops, sandals or boots with a sort of wedge.
I keep saying I'll brighten myself up and sometimes it just needs a necklace or scarf to do the trick.
I'm sure if I made the effort to go out more, if it were only down to the shops, I'd make an effort......well I know I would from when I've been...........maybe a change of routine where I went more often would get me into the habit of not looking so drab......or at least feeling it.
This threads really made me sit back and think...........thankyou for that.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
