Garden irrigation system - £1 only!
Hi everyone.
My husband bought me an irrigation system from the Pound Shop a month or so ago. You just connect it to your regular garden hose and open the tap on a drip setting. The irrigation hose system has tiny holes along it that lets the water out slowly - in a rain type mode.
For anyone interested, you can get this for just a mere £1 from PoundLand at moment! Grab it while you can! I set mine up ready for next year!

Hi
Over the years I have bought small irrigation kits and bits and pieces. It is only just lately that I have realised that this is actually false economy. I have found that you cant add other bits on. The smaller shops then stop selling the products that fit and I am left with odds and ends that I can only just about cobble together.
With water being such a valuable commodity these days and the majority of us being water metered watering accurately and directly to the root source of the veggies etc for me is paramount - I have decided that I now going to save my money and actually save what I have been spending on odds and sods and save up for a proper irrigation system. There are a few companies out there that interest me with regards to equipment etc and I have contacted a few for advice. This chap here (Irrigation UK) was full of advice but dont quote me, we all choose our own shops and tradesmans etc.
With what I will be saving on water, as less wastage and also (hopefully) increased veggie production I should be able to recoup the cost relatively quickly.0
