Hi all - any advice on how to kill off ivy creeping into my gardedn from neighbouring vacant land? I can't get to the source safely due to the terrain and fencing, but it grows relentlessly towards the light which unfortunately comes from the direction of my garden .
I have tries the traditional glyphosphate spray on the "branches" that come in, but it has no effect. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance :T!

Ivy has a waxy surface so you need to damage the leaves a bit so that the glyphosate can get into the plant. Crushing them in your hands should do the trick.0

Thanks Mojisola - I'll give it a try!

If you can get to the roots then boiling water from a kettle would do the trick.0
