Another way to save is buy own brand (generic) medicines.

ie Paracetamol is 16p for 16 tablets for Tesco own brand, but £1.47 for Anadin. The both contain 500mg of paracetamol per tablet one costs 1p per tablet, the other 9p.

Same for Ibuprofen. The own brand has exactly the same ingredients and is a fraction of the price.

This is the same in any other supermarket or chemist and for most non prescription medicines. Even if they are prescribed, you may be able to buy it cheaper over the counter anyway, so check with your pharmacist.
    Illegitimi non carborundum.

I buy the 13p pack of soap (3 soaps) from Sainsburys. Its a nice white colour and a very stylish rectangle shape - would look good in any bathroom - and as for the soap itself - well it's soap.

I bought the 10p toothbrushes from Sainsburys - then thought 4 of us and brushes all white - how can I distinguish! Was going to mark them but decided to pop them in for the shoe box appeal instead!!!
