Flooded Cellar - Do we claim on the insurance?

We got back from a nights camping to 18ins of water in our cellar. This happens every so often for no apparent reason. It is not connected to the weather, but Severn Trent will take no responsibilty for it either. It is definitely clean water, as Severn Trent have tested it in the past. Del Boy had a spring in Peckham !!

If you find a natural spring in your garden, you could be in the money. Many years ago a local farmer found a spring and years later this is supplying bottled water, plus a brewery has opened near the site. This was in a fairly hilly location, although not at the top.
