I want to set up a web site to show some of my crafting items, with a view to maybe moving into selling a bit later on.
I've been told that both Weebly and Wix are fairly idiot proof but that I may need to get a domain name from somewhere else cheaper. Can someone give me some advice where to go for a domain name and what to look for, or indeed any other advice about web sites. I'm completely new to this and I need something simple.

weebly do free hosting of your site, so why not use their free subdomain (yourname.weebly.com) then you can buy a domain later and point it at your weebly site.
i recommend 123reg.co.uk for the domain.0 -
Moonfruit is so easy to use and gives great looking websites. You can also use it for free while you practice.

I bought my domain name from 1+1 and used Weebly to create my site.
