  • Hi all

A couple more amazon book sales, a small expenses claim, and a tiny bit of work has added another £43.45. It's not good, but it's the best I've ever done on one of these challenges!

OK, time to do some really money-raising in the last 9 days :o

That should have been 'Who' for rather than 'What for'!!

I forgot I had some more things finishing on Ebay tonight, so I've an extra £21.85 to add there, and £1.17 from Surveys today. Also got given the Free Pie & Peas voucher from Sundays paper by a neighbour today so popped into Asda on my way past to pick them up and had a nice Pie & Chips for dinner, which means an extra day until more food shopping would be needed, so I'm gonna add an extra couple of pounds saved by having a free dinner (although the Pie would have cost about £3, our meals are generally cheaper than that!).
So all in all an extra £25.02.
Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to have the same success next month!

It was just for a Brazilian friend who had written an article in English and wanted me to double check it, and offered to pay so like a good MSE'r I grabbed it with both hands :D

I did sign up to a Freelancer website but so far haven't found any proof reading work on there yet.
  • Finally found a branch of my local bank and paid in a cheque for £2 - I think I need to open a new account elsewhere once the overdraft on that one is paid off since its RBS and I really don't want to end up with yet another Santander account now my A&L has been switched too.

Natwest is my nearest bank branch, but I need to do some research in to basic bank accounts.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Too right!! It's just wrong to turn down those extra pennies now!! And if your friend hadn't been willing to pay, they wouldn't have offered! :D

This week made £169.95 of extra income mainly from bingo websites including £2.18 profit from Santander's 6% savings account. The withdrawals this week came from Costa(autoplay), Cheeky(autoplay), JackpotJoy(they offered a free £20 for a £10 wager) and BingoLive365(a long forgotten account).

Total for two weeks is now £281.15 (£20.10 per day extra).
A rather good week last week. £211.52 less the £10 deposited so a £201.52 profit. Mostly from signing up to sing bingo and playing the 12 hours of free bingo with only 8 other people in the room. For a £10 investment I highly recommend doing it. No need to spend the original £10 just put it in play in the "Make Your Debut" free room from 10am to 10pm then if over £30 withdraw the winnings including the deposit or top it up then withdraw. You can only do this once only so don't waste it make sure you are on or near the computer for the 12 hours after you deposit. Please don't get addicted to it and never pay to play a game unless you know what you're doing. Do NOT be tempted by the bonus and when withdrawing you will lose the bonus. Don't worry about that just ignore it.

Part of it also came from gamevillage(a long forgotten account that needed ID to withdraw. Eventually sent but payment not cleared yet), quidco(never had a mid month payment before-nice suprise) and bingos.co.uk.

So now the total for the first 3 weeks of September is £482.67 (£23 per day extra). I don't have any more forgotten accounts as far as i'm aware so next week might not be anywhere near so much but I still have a £100 free bet to use at bet365.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
