Going to Barcelona and watching a match

We plan to be in Barcelona for a holiday in mid Oct and would like to take in a footie match (vs Copehnagen, champs league)

And suggestion on the best way to arrange for this?
Is it best to book tickets in advance or queue up on the night?

Also what are the requirements? Do u need to bring passport to the stadium?
Do you need to be a club member first?

Lastly, who is the best online ticket agency for price and reliability?

I've only bought tickets for league games, but I found tickets for those games (except vs Real Madrid) are easily available from the Barcelona web site (www.fcbarcelona.cat). The tickets become available in increasing quantity as the match date approaches (for league games, as season ticket holders return their tickets). You can choose your own seat and see previews of the view you will get. Tickets can be printed at home once booked off their web site.

Champions League games might be a bit different; I've never tried.
