Hello Everyone,
I have a semi-detached 2 bedroom house in Aberdeen with a Garage and off-street parking as well. It has only one bathroom upstairs, my question is...is is a wise decision to convert the garage into another living room/bedroom and add another bathroom downstairs. How much will the property value increases approximately
thanks

Good question! I've been thinking of doing the same thing, but wondered if people buying would prefer the extra room or a garage. Hopefully someone will be able to answer this.0

We've just extended our two bedroomed house, we also had a garage and as it was'nt being used we've converted it to a childrens playroom with two bedrooms and another bathroom above.
Alot of people (including our builder!) put us off the idea of having a bathroom downstairs, all concluding that it would affect the house price as buyers are put off with a bathroom too close to the kitchen.
