No its not, when are viewing this in my messages on the right hand side of the page there is a link to report this type of message. Click report message and it will ask you to select a reason for reporting I would select the one that says something like unsolicited commercial email. I get this type of message whenever I sell anything branded.

Its not allowed but give them a break if they look legit.

I used to trade guitars and half of us all emailed each other looking for a sale. Maybe its annoying to receive them if your not interested but us sellers get a lot of junk messages too so its swings n roundabouts.
