Lloyds takeover of HBOS..remind me what happened?

Hello..

A relative has found an old share cert for 185 shares in HBOS.

Unfortunately she didnt update her address.

Can anyone tell me what happened with the takeover and how many shares she might have now?

Ta
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

I think the amount was 0.62 LBG shares for each HBOS share.

So she will have somewhere around 115 LBG shares worth roughly 70p each.

Therefore a value in the region of £80.

I'm sure someone will be along later to tell you the exact amounts!

  • 4u is about right but they also did a few rights issues. If you didnt take up the rights they would have been sold on your behalf kinda like a dividend waiting to be collected.

Value including that and other stuff will make it a bit closer to 100
