Doing a Factory Restore, What Should I Keep?

Options
Obviously the major things like my photos and music, but I'm looking for ideas on some of the things I might forget.

What sort of things are useful to keep, that I will most likely forget to transfer onto the external hard drive?

Qny ideas on what you might have forgotten or have remembered at the last minute to keep?

Internet favourites just sprang to mind!

    email, all of your profile.

create a disk image, then if you forget something, you can either restore the lot, or look for whatever is missing.

  • Save your download files too and use one of the free utilities that tell what your license keys (Belarc is one and I cannot remember the other I have used at the moment) Plus back up your registry too in case there is something else you might need.
