Wedding - Table Centre Pieces - Goldfish Bowls

Good evening,

I am getting married next year and I think it would be different to have Goldfish bowls as table centre pieces.

I am thinking of the traditional glass ones, purple stones and two fish.

Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy these?

I am looking to buy about 12 bowls of a reasonable size?

Thank you,

Simon

Wow £6.99 is cheap! I work in aquatics store and the glass bowls retail out at between £15 and £40 - the £15 bowls are perhaps 9" in diameter at the widest point, not big by anybodies standards. This seems to be about the going rate in aquatic oulets - you might find them a little cheaper in small, independant pet shops. HTH

I don't mean to be a bore but have you thought what you would do with the fish afterwards?

Thanks both for your replys. Ill have a look now.

Due to having two large families there are lots of children attending. We throught it would be nice for all the bridesmaids, page boys, parents etc ecpecially to take one home for a keep sake. That side of things is already covered as they are all of an age where they are able to look after them.

All my local stores seem to be out of stock, so ill give them a call tomorrow to make sure it's not a discontinued line. I can source about 4 from different stores. They are not needed until next year anyway, but thought I would try and get them sooner rather than later!
  • We've been to weddings with fish and they are usually floating around the bowl by the end of it!!! Anything and everything gets tipped into them especially as the alcohol starts flowing!
