Laptop for 12 year old son under £350?

I was too slow, by the time I persuaded my daughter of the benefits of getting a better PC for the money via refurb they were gone! Still got a couple of weeks fortunately :-)

Now others have been persuaded, they don't last as long. Plus of course, you aren't the only one viewing this thread.
In addition to this, there are probably others who buy these to sell on. Hence you might find one on eBay. More expensive, but with a much more limited warranty.

When I wrote that I couldn't identify the model. I meant that particular model with an Intel processor, but ATI graphics.

The Argos clearance laptops look good value.

Just FYI Dell has a section for laptops and desktops that are returned by customers either because of a slight tarnish on the case or because they have changed their minds within the cooling off period. Basically they are new Dell machines but sold cheaper.

Google "Dell Outlet", you can usually pick up new Dell laptops starting around £350 ish.

I think that I must have missed the new stock. Just looks like old stock at much higher prices. Wonder why they have put the prices up?

As I wrote before, they are not new stock. Just the previous stock re-listed at a higher price than before. The CR610 is more than fifty pounds more than it was a week ago or so.
