For those who write out their own proof of posting

For those of you who fill in the proof of posting cards which are then signed dated and stamped at the Post office. I had to send 1 off with a claim and they didn't pay out as the last letter of the post code looked like an x instead of an s So learn by my carelessness and be very careful filling out the proofs of posting

If you don't already, ask the post office to give you the forms to take away rather than filling them in at the counter - less chance of rushing & making errors.0

Im not sure where that leaves me when the postmaster or his son scribbles out the house number and post code on each receipt and their handwriting leaves alot to be desired!
