It is a matter of taste but I can see why they haven't sold.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

Thanks so much for this. Am about to do bathroom and these fit the bill nicely. But I found another website, same price, free delivery, more choice. It's called Taps Empire -- I googled and didn't find anything telling me they are not a reputable company! Link to these taps is here.
  • I will certainly give it a go as I just cannot resist it!!!:money:

My mate has this shower mixer .... you have to run around the bath to get the water to hit you! I wont be buying it.

Thanks for the giggle! When a friend broke an ankle, she found this was really helpful as an addition to the normal shower. I'm getting it as an extra.

Speaking as a plumber, this type of tap does not have a thermostat so the flow to the shower can run hot and cold, possibly just ok for a house where other taps/washingmachines are not used at the same time. Certainly not a good idea where small children will be using the shower as if the cold goes off then very hot water will scald them.
If the hot water is from a tank( low pressure) and the cold from the mains then this will never mix right, the correct way is to then run a cold also from the tank to balance the pressure , but thats a big job.
Also, changing bath taps is not always easy as the gap can be very small to work in. If you have a cast iron bath it will be impossible(99%) to remove the old taps.
The price is not a bargain, look here,

For a good shower buy something like this
http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/mira-coda-thermostatic-bar-3224-17766?CAWELAID=205024767 but make sure you have it piped up correctly suitable for your type of water system. ( link above was just the first example I found- you may find one cheaper)
On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.

And I checked the prices of the other ones with my plumber who happened to be in the house! Thanks besyman, for the other websites. I'll keep tabs on them as still to buy fittings for a new shower-room and they seem a very good source.
