I have a problem with Auto Direct, reference a car insurance policy.
I have read the Consumer Rights section on this (MSE) website, but I can't decide whether an insurance policy is a "good" or a "service".
Can anybody help?

Many thanks for that.
Can I therefore assume that the "Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982" applies to Insurance policies?0 -

No you cant. Financial services are excluded,
If you have a problem with your insurance company you must go through their complaints process first, once that is exhausted you need to go to the Financial Ombudsman"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."
