need advice on which xbox?

Hiya.
i want to buy the OH an xbox for christmas. i just had a look on currys website and im totally confused. i didnt realise there was so many consoles to choose from. i tried to read the specs of each one and im even more puzzled :rotfl:
my OH would only be using it for basic gaming he would use it to go online etc( he doesnt have internet at his house) so im wondering which is the best one to get? and there are some 4Gb consoles and 250GB consoles. could someone explain the difference? does it matter which one he gets if he is only using it for gaming.
any help much appreciated as im totally lost!:(

The two different sizes you mention is the size of the hard drive included with the console.
How much you need depends on the use of the console, as online there are many things that are available to download and this space can be easily filled up. (I should know, I am about 1/2 a gig from filling my 20GB hard drive on my xbox)
That said, you can also use USB devices to store data, which I will have to take a look into myself. (Although this it limited to 16GB per device AFAIK)-Scott-
