Adding numbers to 1899/18866

Hi. can anyone please tell me how I can add numbers to my 1899 and 18866 numbers. I am able to remove numbers with no problem but when I add numbers and click save changes, I keep getting back the same webpage (for adding numbers) and my addition is not being saved. Am I doing something wrong?? Thank for any help.

    Working for me.

Try closing your browser and re-opening it again.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Thanks Heinz. I think I am going crazy. tried both firefix and IE with and without the firewall on. Also tried putting the number in the standard and then international format but still getting the same page reloaded when I press save changes and the number is not registering. I'd done this before with no problems and can't understand what is happening today.

I'm baffled too then. Although my regular browser is Firefox, I have the 'Always View This Page In IE' facilty set for 1899, 18185 and 18866. I just have Windows XP's firewall switched on.

I regularly add odd numbers for a few days so as not to impose on the kids' phone bills.

As I say, no problem for me doing so (and deleting within a few minutes) today - using the standard UK 11-digit format.

Heinz I am thankful again. I am not only going crazy but I am certain that senility is kicking in. I have all along been putting the phone number under description and vice versa (really embarassing). Now that I have realised this stupidity, things are working fine. Thanks for your help.

By the way, can you guide me to the best settings for the orchid dialler (using BT, 1899, 18866, 18185).

    Many thanks again.
