Sometimes the public need to apply some common sense to their problems, for example asking if a party of six can move seats when the event is obviously sold-out isn't going to get a positive result.
Just remember that we are all human and we can all have bad days.
This is a massive problem nowadays.Working in the rail industry its amazing that when something goes a little bit wrong then people think they can shout and swear at myself and my staff. Its not going to help them and only makes us not want to help them....one of the famous 50 -

From my experience, the major issue with train problems is that no one knows what is wrong, and some communication between staff and passengers (if possible) could help. Still doesn't give an excuse to shout or swear at staff though. My experiences of rail staff is overwhelmingly positive, maybe I'm just lucky, who knows.0 -
I think that as consumers we are much more aware of our rights and the stores know it. But they still try to blag/bluff it if they can. I've seen internal staff memos telling staff to dissuade people from getting refunds by lying and saying that only a replacement or sending the item to be repaired is available. We should arm Trading Standards with teeth - let them make test purchases, try and make returns, and fine stores a % of turnover if they disregard consumer rights.
But sometimes consumers are their own worst enemy. Those who try it on, scream and shout until businesses get fed up with them, make it a lot harder for the rest of us to gain redress. The man without a signature.0 -

Looking at it from the other side some of the customers are not as good as they used to be.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
