The clutch still works, but the pedal is loose / broken, so you when you actuate the clutch the pedal moves from side to side knocking into the brake pedal, this to me makes it unsafe.0 -

So it's an Abarth? So you have a Grande Punto or a 500 with standard clutch pedals and they are snapping, you would think that there would be a pile of complaints on two popular cars if it was a general problem!0

Before the FIAT knocking, there are several manufactuers recently that have had problems with the "clutch pedal falling off".cardinalbiggles wrote: »So it's an Abarth? The Fiesta probably being the worst offender.

Oh I wasnt going to knock, I was about to buy a GP Abarth but got a brand new diesel Bravo Sport for less so went for that instead, had Fiats all my life.
I do suspect there may be some sort of abuse going on here with the pedals as I have never heard of the GP clutch pedals failing.0
