Mine with NTL only gives it as 'International call' and as my family abroad keep in touch by email, I do not answer it.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
  • same with me. Just says interenational
  • Sometimes the international number comes up, sometimes I just get "International" or "Withheld". When faimily from Canada phone us, their numbers come up if they dial through Bell Canada (their equivalent of BT) but not if they use a cheaper call router.

When we call them, our number usually comes up on their display, even though we use 18185 to call them.

I use VoIP and my mobile, have no landline, all International numbers are displayed unless someone withholds their number.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

The only trouble with ignoring "International" flagged calls is that many people use low cost call carriers such as 1899, certain times of the day calls are routed out of the UK and back in again, as it's cheaper, this then means on landlines even though it's a UK call it will be flagged as International, so you could be missing genuine calls from friends and family in the UK, just by ignoring "International" numbers.

I don't have this problem as VoIP displays all numbers, even when the UK number is in International format.
