8.10am call from Littlewoods

I pity the poor woman who got me out of bed with her chirpy scouse accent at 8.10 this morning.

I asked her to call back.

She said they opened at 8 - i told her that i didn't.

RUDE????? Not the word for it! I told her to call back - she then said she would pass it to a debt agency ... I told her to crack on ...


Then she put the phone down on me.

I don't understand why they need to be rude!!! Also can't remember if I signed a credit agreement with them ... who thinks i should ask for a copy of it ?

For anyone's interest, you can simply say would you please put all enquiries in writing as I can't deal with this over the phone. Also there are limits as to what time they can phone or call by and to the amount of times they do this otherwise it counts as harassment.

You must have been really unlucky with this person as Littlewoods were always really nice to me!!
About the only ones though.
Capitol One were the ones that drove me to screaming point after 6 calls in half an hour on a Sunday evening...at Christmas would you believe?
And then there was the caller from Egg whose response to my plea that my father had died a week before was "Well, I'm sure that now thats over you have now got time to pay what you owe us?"
I agree that its a bit early. Its bliss since we changed our telephone number.

Wakey wakey - no calls this morning but i did leave home early! They are usually really polite and friendly - must admit i am not a mrorning person though anyway so the poor woman got the sharp end of my tongue
