How to add additional entries to a Wikipedia table?

I wish to add a couple of references to a wikipedia topic - which is asking for additional information provided it is correctly referenced.
I have a log on for Wikipedia and I know how to add text, but this topic holds the data I want to add to, in the form of a table.
I have looked through the wikipedia instructions and can find nothing about how to add additional entries to a page where the information is held as a table.
This is no guidance on the entry itself. Anyone know how to do this?
