I received a letter today dated 13/10/2010 from Daniel Ward, Customer Service Supervisor which reads as follows:
"Thank you for entering our promotion recently. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances your cheque refund is going to take a little longer than planned to reach you, we're sorry for the delay and any inconvenience this may cause you."
"Thank you for expressing an interest in the Finish QuantuMatic Offer and we will have your refund with you as soon as possible."
Anyone else received this? Highly puzzled as some of you seem to have received your refunds already?
Me too - I received the same letter dated 13th october from Daniel Ward - will have to wait and see if we get a cheque refund - at least I'm not the only one who received the letter!0 -

Did you include some kind of stamped envelope? I didn't and I was wondering if that was why I received the letter. That part confused me as it wasn't clear whether they wanted a stamped envelope with the claim form, proof of purchase etc in or a stamped envelope included to the freepost address so they could effectively send the refund cheque out at no cost to themselves.
Anyway I wrote a short complaint on the contact form of their website saying how I'd read the T&C's and followed them correctly as far as I could see etc and what was the reason for the delay in the refund, and reminding them that it has to be within 28 days which doesn't give them much longer to get the refund to me..
Well the refund cheque for £5 turned up yesterday and was promptly bankedthe letter was dated 13/10/2010 and had no name on it!

Sent my (original) receipt and form off weeks ago, but have not received the refund. Anybody received theirs?
All the best
Nigel
No, several weeks later I haven't received my refund either. I didn't stamp the envelope as it was a Freepost address, and they didn't ask for an SAE as far as I can remember.0
