Just thought id let people know that Norwich Union are currently running a 20% discount for online purchases, not sure why, and this saved me about £100 off my car insurance.
Details:
I’m a young driver (21)
Its third part fire and theft coverage
1388cc Ford Fiesta Ghia
cheapest quote I got was £356
Norwich Union phoned me up last week and the cheapest they could quote me was £435 (not a very 'quote me happy' quote) but this included £30 cash back so I took it to be £405, went on their website the other day and got a 20% discount for buying online (the extra 10% was because it was special promotion in February I think) and then saved an extra £20 because there were no admin costs!
£405 - 20% = £324
then - £20 = £304
I actually paid £305 but this is the only way I could understand the difference!
So just in case there is anybody struggling to find affordable car insurance give them a try, my quote turned out happy in the end
