Well what can I say?
Are you wonderful people a good or bad influence?
I have tried OS cleaning, I have the proverbial bottle of Stardrops, the bottle of white vinegar and used both and am well impressed.
I have bought some microfibre cloths and think they are amazing for everything.
I have even started Christmas shopping.
DS - ideas already sorted and stocking fillers which I have started on.
DD - ideas already sorted and now need to look out for cheap baskets to make her a beauty hamper. She's training to be a beauty therapist so thought I would do her a hamper of nail varnishes, nail varnish remover, cotton wool pads and so on.
Also getting her and BF a Tussauds annual pass each using Clubcard Deals.
MIL - no ideas - what do you get a 82 year old that can't use smellies or eat chocolate?
BIL - CD and a mixed box of real ales - all bought
Bro - no idea, probably similar to BIL but selection of lagers
OH - completely no ideas. Trying to persuade him to be MSE, but he wants a Sat Nav system
Off now to tackle the mountain
Catch up with you all later.

You know, this morning I was thinking just the same sort of thing, but in a different context - I was thinking about the very significant number of Old Stylers who have mentioned that they are obese/overweight!
Dare I ask if the healthy OS home-cooking is having a positive or a negative effect on the average OSer's waistline?
Serious question!Operation Get in Shape

Get him a map!
What stage is your daughter at in her training? I might be able to help you with ideas, if you want - but won't be back until Sunday/Monday.

Edit: Just a thought, if it doesn't seem too mean to you - if you write/phone/email (preferable as it's already paid!) the different skincare houses they will send you sample products which you could include in her hamper. You could do a search on the internet. There are P8N8, dermalogica, Thalgo, Decleor, just to give you a few ideas.0 -

She's just started Year2 of NVQ so can do waxing, makeup, manicures, pedicures and ear piercing. So yes please, all suggestions gratefully received.

Unfortunately not as she is registed blind due to cataracts. We do get her talking stories (audio books), but as her birthday is so close to Christmas it gets a bit repetitive

Are you talking about me Bargain ?You are right and I've noticed its not just me. I've always been OS and I've nearly always been overweight. When there is a news story about obesity in children being a result of eating junk food and their parents not being able to cook, I never know whether to laugh or cry  My kids and OH don't have any weight probs at all, so I have to be honest and put it down to GREED

My waist was 'wasted' before I got here, but my bum seems to growing too now, to match it in proportions.
Note to universe - Thank you for your generosity, but I only asked for an hourglass figure. The GIANT-SIZED hourglass figure really wasn't necessaryEek! Someone's stolen my signature! :eek:0
