Hi all.....My eldest daughter (17) has decided that she wont be returning to school in september after disappointing exam results and already having a full time job :j. My question is When do I inform TC and CB? Do I tell them now or do
I wait till the official return to school in september?
Thanks in advance

I would tell them now, and let them work out when to stop paying you so you don't get an overpayment.
IIRC tax credits should stop on 31st Aug and CB on 6th Sep. But that's for a child going onto higher education. Both might stop as soon as she gets a job, so I'd phone tomorrow.
It's only a game
